The "Unsung Heroes" are members of the film community who may not have met the criteria for nomination but their role in the industry of film and television has been invaluable over the years.  These members of the film community provided technical support services that are integral to the production process - without which our nominees would be nothing. This acknowledgement is an effort to highlight their vital contribution.  The 2000 "Unsung Heroes" were:
